Talking Heads

I've been enjoying Alan Bennett's book Untold Stories and, because I've gone all trendy and discovered YouTube, entered 'Alan Bennett' in the search field. I found this lovely Talking Head with Patricia Routledge, it's only about ten minutes long, so get a pot of tea and enjoy!

They showed the whole Talking Heads series on TV a few years back. Very engaging and so well written.

It's interesting that they are still so relevant across the other side of the world, particularly given the gritty northern English humour that he uses. Just shows that the issues he deal with are about life not necessarily where we live.

Hi Crofty!

Have you heard that Patricia Routledge is performing Alan Bennett's Office Suite at Chichester Festival Theatre - http://www.cft.org.uk - this season?
